Colorguard

Color Guard is one of the Hagerty's special competitive teams. The primary focus of Color Guard is honoring tradition and the role of the colors (the flags) in formal situations and ceremonies. This is a long standing tradition within the United States military.

Here in the Husky Battalion, our Color Guard teams practice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in order to prepare for our voluntary individual event Color Guards, voluntary formal event Color Guards, and Area IV State Qualifier, and State Competitions.

Burns is responsible to recruit members, assign roles, and coordinate required uniforms and weapons with the S-4 and S-2 respectively. He also schedules drill practices, parades and events, and coordinates the Color Guard competitions. This is often facilitated through the chain of command staff.
